Oh man! You just found out that you have to go on a 20 minute car ride with your aunt who is not only a habitual snorter, but only listens to John Tesh's Holiday cd...and your ipod just died! You have your USB cable, but no computer handy to charge it in. What to do what to do?
Well have no fear, because the guys from Household Hacker will teach you how to charge your ipod for up to 20 minutes, using nothing but an onion, screwdriver, Gatorade and an iPod USB cable. Genius!
I don't have an ipod, but if you do and you try this let me know.

This is insane...I honestly might have done this at some point if I would have known about it! I'm wondering if it is harmful to the USB at all? Meh - it's worth it if you are about to get on a plane and your ipod is dead!
